It enhances self-discipline.

Umang Foundation Trust conducts Women Health, Sanitation and Hygiene Educational Program {WHSHEP}:

An educational drive on sanitation & hygiene in the chawls for the women and girl to educate and empower them on menstrual hygiene as it is one of the most important, yet neglected, health issues in the developing world. It is a subject, surrounded by silence and shame, that also restricts women’s access to normal activities and services.

Umang Foundation Trust is working towards creating a culture that welcomes discussion and makes adequate education for girls which is of equal importance. Not having access to menstrual hygiene management products can keep girls home from school during their period each month so a period should never stop girls from going to school or enjoying their rights is our mission.

We have been conducting WHSHEP at schools like Matoshri Vidya Mandir, Kurar Village, Mulinche Samarth Vidyalaya and in Chawls.

Join hands with our WHSHEP initiative and help us spread awareness on Menstrual Hygiene in more schools and chawls like these.
