Umang Foundation Trust conducts Women Health, Sanitation and Hygiene Educational Program, (WHSHEP); where an educative talk on sanitation is shared by the counselor (Asst Doctor) in the identified chawls. This informs the Girl child about ways on how to maintain hygiene, WHSHEP aims at educating girl students on Hygiene, menstruation and other important aspects related to sanitation.
After the informative talk, the Umang Volunteers will hand over one Hygiene kit to the Participants.
The WHSHEP team comprises of a Mental Health Counsellor, Three Volunteers and an assistant doctor.
Beneficiaries are divided into six batches of fifty each. This is a monthly activity in various chawls of Mumbai.
